As we expand our network of freelance translators, we are seeking talented individuals proficient in foreign languages to join our team.

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking experienced Freelance Translators fluent in foreign languages to collaborate on a variety of translation projects. As a freelance translator, you will have the opportunity to work remotely and choose projects based on your language expertise and availability. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your language skills and contribute to meaningful projects across different industries.

Responsibilities:

• Translate written content from English to foreign languages and vice versa with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
• Adapt translations to ensure they resonate with the target audience while maintaining the original meaning and intent.
• Proofread and edited translated materials to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to client requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and fellow translators to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality translations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements, address feedback, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on linguistic trends, cultural nuances, and industry-specific terminology to enhance translation skills continually.

Qualifications:

• Fluency in English and native-level proficiency in one or more foreign languages (e.g., Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, etc.).
• Proven experience as a translator, preferably with a focus on translation between English and foreign languages.
• Strong linguistic and grammatical skills in both English and the target foreign language(s).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in translation and proofreading.
• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
• Familiarity with translation software and tools (e.g., CAT tools) is an asset.
• Bachelor’s degree in translation, linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
